was quite extraordinary. At around four in the afternoon
the Irish American Dr. Callaghan called all the other team members together and said ‘Friends, after studying the quake phenomena at the previous location of Shimpu and after prolonged experimentation with the equipment I had brought with me, I believe I hit upon a plausible theory. It is that there may well be a place very near our present location which could be termed the Electric force center of the earth. It would no doubt be a marvelous discovery if we could get to it. This electrical center I feel could be around half a kilometer in radius apparently circular in area defining a fully balanced zero potential field. There are enormous possibilities if this center could be manipulated to give positive benefits including total control of the earth’s weather and unlimited energy supply. Goterella, Ward, Chalkidis and Williams were all- agog with excitement and were eager to pursue the search for this electrical center and determine its location. Callaghan further said ‘Any manipulation of this electrical center if such was at all possible, has to be done at the critical point which could be deep down, well below the surface and should be detectable with the help of an instrument that I propose to devise with the existing scientific kit available with me’.
It was agreed by all that this was to be considered as only a preliminary attempt to discover the various aspects that may have contributed to this new and peculiar riddle concerning the mystery behind the observed result of electrical aberration in the presence of a quake. It was further agreed that the Idea of earth’s electrical center had to be kept a secret till its exact impact was assessed on the existing data and on the functional knowledge one had of the earth’s entire electrical phenomena as was presently known or as surmised by the scientific community. They all decided to help Dr. Callaghan in the search for this place, the so called electrical center of the planet and make their views known on the advisability of trying to go deep under its surface to locate the critical point, once the approximate location of the center was established.
